We had a great experience with Jay and his team. After getting 3 quotes to take care of longterm side yard/hill drainage issues, we decided to use First Service Landscape. The owner, Jay, is professional and a very good communicator. We appreciated his extremely detailed estimate and found his quote to be very reasonable. Everything went smoothly and we love our new stone steps and landscaping going to our backyard. We ended up asking them to add lighting at the end of the project, which makes it all even better. We highly recommend using this company!

JAY and his team landscaped my front yard with foundation plantings and zoysia turf with rock accents. Jay designed it and installed it with great communication and timing. I would recommend him for anyone. Thanks Jay.

Service First Landscaping did an amazing job transforming our property. We were struggling with serious water and drainage issues. At the same time we decided to freshen up the landscaping by removing 20 year old shrubs, expanding our fire pit, adding stairs to the lower yard and installing new sod. From the first time we met with Jay until the final walk through, Jay was prompt, professional and fantastic to work with on our project. His crew is hardworking, conscientious and respectful of property always leaving the work areas cleaned up before they left for the day. Service First Landscaping has been used in our neighborhood for 20 years. They exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them for your project.

I contacted Service First because I wanted to install pavers and LED lights on my side patio. They came out and did an amazing job. Jay and his staff are professional and their number one goal is to please their customers. I had them back for another job to refresh my front porch area. They installed LED lights on my front walk and put in shrubbery which made the curb appeal pop out. I have had many compliments. Give them a call you will be pleased!

I used this company for a large backyard transformation including terrain grading, retaining wall, synthetic turf and a new fence. I’m happy with the results and would use them again. Before and after attached. Thanks Jay

Jay and his team completely redid my landscaping this past spring. Not being a person with a good eye for this type of thing (nor someone who knows his plants), I was a little hesitant to make the investment as I was worried I may not like the finished product. Jay also had proposed redoing more than I originally had in mind. However, I could not have been happier with the result. Jay’s team went above and beyond, providing me with a beautiful landscape that was more than I could have hoped for. I am glad I had Jay redo it all, besides leaving my palm tree, so that it could be a consistent vision. Jay also knows his plants and only plants what will grow well in this area (and factors in the sunlight each part of your house gets). He only planted deer resistant plants for me, which is a big deal because I used to get deer eating my plants every night. A few months later, so far everything except one plant (lemon ball sedum) is growing well. The sedum may have gotten too much rain recently. When I let Jay know about it, he gave me tips to improve its health and said that he will happily replace it under warranty if it doesn’t get healthier soon. I give Jay the highest rating possible and highly recommend to anyone looking for new plants/landscaping.

Jay impressed us from the beginning with his incredibly detailed quote and willingness to explain it all. In addition to this, his prices were competitive and probably most importantly, his team did some great work for us. Attached here are before and after photos of our backyard project. We will certainly be recommending Service First to our friends and neighbors and be reaching out to him for our future landscaping needs!
